Rise is committed to complying with the Code of Practice for Service Providers and this public statement is made in evidence of that position.

Rise has completed the Self-Certification against the 'Code of Practice for Cloud Service Providers' (the 'Code') of the Cloud Industry Forum ('CIF', at www. cloudindustryforum.org), which the mark below demonstrates. Clicking on the mark will take you to the CIF website where supporting information for this Certification is available.

Rise is committed to the Code. One of the main objectives of the Code is to help ensure disclosure of essential information so that consumers of Cloud Services can make better business decisions based on this information. The information on this page addresses the public disclosure requirements of the Code.

NOTICE: While Rise has made the commitment to the Code and has been self certified as compliant with the Code, customers/third parties shall note that information or certification provided by the Cloud Industry Forum does not constitute advice from or endorsement by the Cloud Industry Forum. The Cloud Industry Forum disclaims any and all liability arising out of the use of services or otherwise of certified organizations. Where disclosed information or capabilities as specified by the Code of Practice are essential in purchasing cloud services from a certified organization, it/these should be cited contractually. Professional advice appropriate to specific circumstances should always be obtained.

Third-Party Coverage of Code

Rise develops its infrastructure services in-house, for some products this is done in partnership with key 3rd party vendors. Rise accepts responsibility for the provision of its infrastructure services, this is inclusive of any technical failures of 3rd party vendors that provide services/hardware to us. As per our Partner agreement liability for any such a failure will be limited and Partners are required to undertake their areas of responsibility e.g. backups.

Due the nature of our infrastructure services Rise suppliers do not accept indirect responsibility to our partners.

Our liability is with partners and Rise is under no obligation or liability to customers of partners/end users. So any requests from an end user will be reviewed on an individual basis. Depending upon the circumstances for a request, access will be provided where we believe it is correct to do so. A charge for access will be considered depending upon the work involved.
